RE: Notice of Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund Grant Award for
Apttus Corporation
Dear Mayor Becker,
As indicated by Governor Bullock's letter dated, August 26, 2013, your application to the Big Sky
Economic Development Trust Fund (BSTF) Program funding has been approved.
The Montana Department of Commerce Grant and Loan Review Committee has tentatively
approved an award of up to $385,000.00 in BSTF Category I Job Creation funding to be used as
follows:
• Up to $365,750.00 to assist Apttus Corporation with the purchase of equipment. Apttus
Corporation agrees to create 77 net new full time jobs that meet the BSTF required wage
rate of between $19.00 and $144.00 per hour without the inclusion of the value of
benefits. Job creation activities may take place as of August 7, 2013, the date the
application was deemed complete.
• Up to $19,250.00 for eligible administrative expenses.
The Montana Department of Commerce will be in touch about an initial public announcement
related to the award.
The Big Sky Economic Development Program (BSTF) is pleased to announce that your
application to the BSTF Category I Job Creation Project will be managed through the
FundingMT portal located at http://fundin.qmt.or-g. Staff will be entering your application into the
on-line system for this project. If your organization is already registered through FundingMT.org,
you will see the username of BRD tester under your organization during this time. If you are not
registered in FundingMT.org, department staff will register your organization so that your project
can be entered into the system. When the process of entering your application into the online
system is complete, department staff will notify you via email that you now have access to your
project through the online system, and can begin the start-up process through FundingMT.org.
