REQUESTS FOR STATEMENTS OF INTEREST
Various Repairs to City of Bozeman facilities due to the June 30, 2010 Hail Storm
The June 30, 2010, hail storm caused
damage to a number of City of Bozeman facilities. The City of Bozeman Facilities Department seeks Statements of Interest (“Statements”) from licensed, bonded, and insured contractors
that would be interested in submitting bids for various repairs to City of Bozeman facilities due to the June 30, 2010 Hail Storm.
The list of repairs includes: siding, painting,
replacement of skylights, roof repairs, (including wood shingles, asphalt /composite shingles, and flat commercial membrane roofs), stucco/Dryvit repairs, air conditioner condenser fins,
and other general building exterior repairs.
Interested parties are requested to submit a Statement indicating their interest in providing services to the City of Bozeman for any
or all of the above mentioned repairs. The Statement must include: the Business’s name; a principle contact person; mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address; a list of all
the types of repairs the business is interested in providing; a statement of qualifications; a list of references; a statement regarding the business’s licensing/bonding status; and
a statement of the business’s ability to comply with the City of Bozeman insurance and discrimination requirements.
Following the submission of Statements, the City will provide those
who have submitted Statements with a specific project scope of work for which and interested party may submit a detailed bid. The City will select a contractor from those who submit
bids. The City reserves the right to not issue any contracts under this process and may, if required by law, engage to a formal bid process for any repair.
The statement must be received
by the City Clerk no later than 5:00pm, Friday, October 8, 2010. Statements should be addressed to the City Clerk, City of Bozeman.
