Mary Jane McGarity was born and raised in Billings and graduated from Montana Tech in 1982
with a BS in Environmental Engineering. She has over 30 years of experience developing
business and managing projects and teams for private and public clients in the non-profit and
engineering fields. Mary Jane currently serves as Manager of Development Relations for the
Montana State University Alumni Foundation. After spending twenty years in Seattle, Mary
Jane is happy to call Bozeman home where she enjoys time spent with her husband Robert (also
an engineer), daughter Emily (who begins college this fall), son Calvin (a junior at Bozeman
High), and her ornery cat - Chester.
