Acknowledgment of Receipt - City Of Bozeman Ethics Handbook updated: Sept. 4, 2012
and
Verification of Compliance as required under Bozeman Municipal Code 2.03.480
I. I have received a copy of the City of Bozeman's Ethics Handbook updated Sept. 4, 2012.
I will read this Handbook and will comply with its provisions. I will direct any questions I
have regarding this policy to the City Clerk's office or to the City Attorney.
II. On May 11, 2009 the Bozeman City Commission complied with the citizen driven City
Charter and adopted Ordinance 1759 which amended the Code of Ethics in the Bozeman
Municipal Code (BMC).
Bozeman Municipal Code Division 4. - Code of Ethics
Sec. 2.03.480. - Person covered. reads as follows:
Upon initial emloyment (appointment)and annually thereafter each employee,
public official and member of any board or committee shall verify he/she has not
and will not knowingly violate any provision of this ordinance or the rules,
standards of conduct or rules of ethics established by state law.
(Future annual signatures will be collected at the annual ethics training - also required by the Charter.)
In compliance with BMC Sec. 2.03.480 my signature below verifies that I have
received the September, 2012 version of the Ethics Handbook and that I have not and
will not knowingly violate any provision of this Ethics ordinance or the rules,
standards of conduct or rules of ethics established by state law.
