JANUARY 28, 2010 PROGRESS REPORT This report covers the time period from August 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. The attached semi annual progress report prepared by our on -site construction management team summarizes the current status of our BNR project work and highlights the construction progress which has been completed to date. See attached Construction Status Report. Outlook Viability of Meeting Final Compliance Dates Very Good. As the attached report outlines, our BNR project is currently about 35% complete and the contractor is reasonably on schedule. To the best of our knowledge there are currently no known delays or obstacles on the horizon which would prevent the City from achieving the construction progress goals we identified in our previous report dated August 28, 2009. MMI Engineering DEQ Semi Annual Construction Status Overall the project is about 35% complete, with $15,812,135 earned of the $36,176,520 current contract amount, which includes payment for materials on hand paid. As of December 31, 2009, approximately 31% of the 1074 calendar days of total contract time had expired. Yard Piping 35% overall complete: The Utilidor structure new 36" Storm Sewer are complete, yard piping around PEPS, new Bioreactors Secondary Clarifiers is partially complete. Truck Barn Relocation 99 Electrical service remains to be completed. UV Structure, Secondary Clarifiers Junction Box New Outfall Structure Pipe 98% complete: Structures Piping are complete, the UV Disinfection will not be operational until the new electrical service is completed and commissioned. The new outfall structure was placed into service on 12/2/09. Secondary Clarifiers #5 #6 Concrete and backfill is 90% complete: Concrete launders, clarifier mechanisms and yard piping remain to be completed. New Bioreactors 2 3 Concrete and backfill is 85% complete: Additional concrete, piping, mechanical, aeration system and piping, electrical controls remain to be completed. Primary Effluent Pump Station Concrete is about 85% complete: Additional concrete, roof system, control building, all mechanical, electrical controls remain to be completed. Existing Bioreactors Blower Biding 3% complete: Only a portion of the Blower Bldg interior walls demolition has been completed. Secondary Clarifier Splitter 0% complete, some under -slab piping has been completed. RAS /WAS #2 Concrete is 40% complete: Walls, roofing system, and all mechanical, electrical, and controls remain to be completed Headworks 0% scheduled for summer 2010 start. UFAT 0% scheduled for summer 2010 start. Fermenter Concrete is complete: Placement of concrete walls and roofing system, mechanical, electrical controls remain to be completed. Gravity Thickener 0% Others (List) nothing note worthy.
