Hi Tim,
Thank you for reaching out about the Bozeman Solvent Site. Construction requirements related to
the Bozeman Solvent Site in this area are not identified in the Record of Decision (DEQ 2011).
The closest Bozeman Solvent Site monitoring well to 1001 Oak Building D is M-38. M-38 is located
approximately 1600 ft to the north. It is between Baxter Road and I-90.Based on historical analytical
results, PCE has not been detected in M-38 (PCE = <0.5 µg/L).
If construction occurs within the Bozeman Solvent Site and requires a dewatering permit, the permit
application requires the applicant to contact me regarding current groundwater plume conditions.

My name is Tim Blystone, I’m a civil engineer for TD&H Engineering in Bozeman. I’m working on a site plan here in
Bozeman that falls within the Bozeman Solvent Site boundary, the project is known as 1001 Oak Building D. AƩached is a
map of the site and boundary for your reference. Per one of our informal review comments from the City of Bozeman,

we have been asked to reach out about any construcƟon requirements for our site since we’re within the Solvent Site
boundary. If you could let me know what requirements we have, I would greatly appreciate it!
