HomeMy WebLinkAbout062 - C600 Site and Utility Details3" 8" 8"(MIN) DEPTH SCARIFIED, MOISTURE CONDITIONED, & RECOMPACTED SUBGRADE NOTES: 1.FOR ADDITIONAL SECTION DETAIL SEE ADDENDUM TO THE GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION REPORT JANUARY 18,2023 BY RAWHIDE ENGINEERING AND PRELIMINARY GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION REPORT SOUTH 40 SUBDIVISION REPORT OCTOBER 21, 2022 2.PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF THE BASE COURSE, THE EXPOSED SUBGRADE SHALL BE SCARIFIED TO A MINIMUM DEPTH OF EIGHT INCHES (8") BELOW EXISTING GRADE, MOISTURE CONDITIONED, AND RECOMPACTED TO 95% (MINIMUM) OF MAXIMUM DENSITY AS DETERMINED BY ASTM D 698. 3.AGGREGATE SUB-BASE COURSE SHALL CONFORM TO SECTION 02234 OF THE MPWSS AND INCORPORATE A MAXIMUM PARTICLE SIZE OF THREE INCHES (3"). 4.AGGREGATE BASE COURSE SHALL CONFORM TO SECTION 02235 OF THE MPWSS AND INCORPORATE A MAXIMUM PARTICLE SIZE OF ONE AND ONE-HALF INCHES (1-1/2"). 5.AGGREGATE BASE COURSE SHALL BE COMPACTED TO A MINIMUM OF 95% OF THE MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY AS DETERMINED BY ASTM D 698. 6.ASPHALT SHALL BE TYPE B OR APPROVED EQUAL WITH PERFORMANCE GRADE 58-28 BINDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH AASHTO MP1 COMPACTED TO A MINIMUM OF 97% OF THE MARSHALL UNIT WEIGHT. 7.THE FINISHED SURFACE MUST BE FREE OF RUTS, DEPRESSIONS, OR OTHER SURFACE DEFECTS EXCEEDING ONE-QUARTER INCH (1/4") AS MEASURED WITH A TEN FOOT (10') STRAIGHT EDGE PARALLELING THE FINISHED SURFACE.
