Please follow the standard infrastructure review process and we will need a detailed traffic control plan for main street. Please try and complete the construcAon on main street ASAP as we will not allow for long-duraAon street closures given the traffic load on Main. 2 Lance City of Bozeman MT Lance Lehigh, PE, CFM | Engineer III From: Cody J. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Good morning Lance, Mikaela suggested we get in touch with you regarding a new fire line in Main Street for the 23243 Cooper Block SP project (previously the downtown anAques store). Do new fire lines typically require concurrent construcAon if no public water main improvements are involved? I believe fire lines are considered private uAliAes from the valve at the main to the building (BMC 40.02.760 and 40.02.790.A). We understand the fire line sAll requires separate engineering review, pre-con, street cut/MDT encroachment permits, and cerAficaAon/as-builts. However we weren’t sure if the other CCON requirements would apply (i.e., Irrevocable Offer of DedicaAon) or how a fire line could be required to be installed and accepted prior to building permits being issued? Here’s a snip of the uAlity plan for refence. Please let us know if you think this needs to follow the concurrent construcAon process or just the fire service line standard. 3 Thanks!
