Heating and Cooling Strategies:
House
Heating and cooling will be provided by a
Daikin multi-split variable refrigerant flow (VRF)
system. The outdoor heat pump, HP-H, will be
located on the roof. Indoor fan coils will be
located in the main cooridors and stairway
areas in the ceiling space
Lease 01
Heating and cooling by a Lennox packaged
rooftop unit (RTU-1) with natural gas heating
and electrical, direct expansion cooling.
Ducting will be concealed in ceiling space
with diffusers and grilles penetrating ceiling
in between ceiling joists.
Some additional electrical heat will be
provided near window exposures on the east
side of the building using radiant cove
heaters.
Lease 02
Heating and cooling by a Lennox packaged
rooftop unit (RTU-2) with natural gas heating
and electrical, direct expansion cooling.

with diffusers and grilles penetrating ceiling
in between ceiling joists.
