As part of our original permit number #21-31465, we proposed the addition of a canopy
and sidewalk patio (see drawing 006 - Site Plan). The canopy was built, installed, and
approved by the building and fire departments prior to us opening June 30th of last
summer. We are now applying for a SUP to be able to install the patio fencing and serve
alcohol. The proposed patio is similar in size and scope as many existing downtown
sidewalk patios: roughly 4’ depth x 15’ width x 4’ height with steel cable space tightly
enough to not allow children to crawl under or through the fencing. Furthermore, the
patio as drawn maintains a six foot pedestrian zone between the building’s frontage
zone and the sidewalk furnishing zone.
