Hi Russ, Reaching out to verify/clarify the above subject project review comment of “make sure all doors swing open minimum of 18 degrees.” <image003.png> Due to the configuration of side by side refuse containers, and minimize the size/weight of the swinging doors, the proposed solution is doors that open as wide a possible. In this instance approx. 150 degrees, please see the diagram below and the red lines depicting the open configuration to clarify. Please note the angle/bent configuration is also to accommodate an existing pipeline easement, and allow a 50’ minimum front approach. <image004.png> Also, as a precedent, this opening width is very similar to the configuration at the Bozeman Public Safety Center. Please let us know your thoughts and if acceptable to Solid Waste. Thanks!
