Discuss significant architectural features. This two-story commercial structure has a square plan witn a roof overhang on the top story and a projecting overhang on the street level . The facade is symmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with three large aluminum storefront windows in each corner of the two floors. The central portion of both floors between the windows is a checkerboard pattern of reddish- grey block. The concrete block construction is finished in reinforced stack bond pilasters infilled with pinkish-red running bond on the ends. It rests on a concrete foundation and has a flat built-up roof that is parallel to the street. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. This structure is an intrusive element within a potential historic district.
