Morrison Maierle Inc., on behalf of Mitchell Development Group, requests the approval from the
Farmers Canal Company to leave approximately 114-foot sectfon of the Farmers Canal open,
rather than piped underground. This section is located in the NWl/4 of Section 14, Township 2
South, Range 5 East, Gallatin County, MT. The following figures/maps are included for your
reference:
• A map generated from the City of Bozeman GIS website
• A preliminary plat map of the Bozeman Gateway Subdivision P.U.D. Phase 5
• Exhibit A depicting the Farmer's Canal Easement within Minor Subdivision 195A
The City of Bozeman requires written confirmation that the Farmers Canal Company approves
that this approximately 114-foot section of the Farmers Canal remains an "open" canal. We
respectfully request that you sign below to indicate your approval of this existing condition of the
canal.
Please review the attached documentation and sign a copy of this letter at your earliest
