VERIFY PRESSURE AND FLOW ON SITE PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. 2.CONTROLLER AT THE APPROXIMATE LOCATION SHOWN. COORDINATE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE CONTROLLER WITH THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO INSTALL THE IRRIGATION CONTROLLER IN A LOCATION THAT IS ACCESSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE. FINAL LOCATION TO BE APPROVED BY OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE. 3.COORDINATE UTILITY LOCATES OF ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. 4.DO NOT PROCEED WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS IN THE FIELD THAT OBSTRUCTIONS OR GRADE DIFFERENCES EXIST THAT MIGHT NOT HAVE CONSIDERED IN THE DESIGN PROCESS. IF DISCREPANCIES IN CONSTRUCTION DETAILS, LEGEND, NOTES OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE DISCOVERED, BRING ALL SUCH OBSTRUCTIONS OR DISCREPANCIES TO THE ATTENTION OF THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. 5.DRAWINGS ARE DIAGRAMMATIC. THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE NOTED: A.ALTHOUGH IRRIGATION COMPONENTS MAY BE SHOWN OUTSIDE OF PLANTING AREAS FOR CLARITY, INSTALL IRRIGATION PIPE, WIRING, VALVES, ETC. IN LANDSCAPED AREAS AND WITH PROPERTY LINES. B.TREE AND SHRUB LOCATION SHOWN ON LANDSCAPE PLANS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER IRRIGATION EQUIPMENT LOCATIONS. AVOID CONFLICTS BETWEEN THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM, PLANTING MATERIALS, AND ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES. C.USE ONLY STANDARD TEES AND ELBOW FITTINGS. 7.PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS TO THE OWNER PRIOR TO THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT: A.TWO (2) OPERATING KEYS FOR EACH TYPE OF MANUALLY OPERATED VALVES AND CONTROLLERS. 8.THE IRRIGATION CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF IRRIGATION SLEEVING. SLEEVES ARE REQUIRED FOR BOTH PIPING AND ELECTRICAL WIRING AT EACH HARDSCAPE CROSSING. COORDINATE INSTALLATION OF SLEEVING WITH OTHER TRADES. ANY PIPE OR WIRE WHICH WAS NOT INSTALLED WILL REQUIRE HORIZONTAL BORING BY THE IRRIGATION CONTRACTOR. IRRIGATION CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH SITE CONTRACTOR FOR TIME OF INSTALLATION AND LOCATION OF ANY SLEEVE AND/OR CONDUIT INSTALLATION. 9.INSTALL ALL ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE IRRIGATION CONTROL SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE AND ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL ELECTRIC UTILITY CODES. 10.INSTALL TWO (2) #14 AWG CONTROL WIRES FROM CONTROLLER LOCATION TO EACH DEAD-END OF MAINLINE FOR USE AS SPARE INCASE OF CONTROL WIRE FAILURE. COIL 3 FEET OF WIRE IN VALVE BOX. 11.ALL PLANT MATERIAL NOT LOCATED IN LAWN AREAS SHALL BE DRIP IRRIGATED BY AUTOMATIC CONTROLLED SYSTEM. RAINBIRD EQUIPMENT OR EQUAL. A COMPLETE LIST OF EQUIPMENT, SHOP DRAWING CATALOG CUTS, LAYOUT PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE WARRANTY INFORMATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK. SAID INFORMATION SHALL BE COMPILED ALONG WITH AS-BUILT DRAWINGS AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION AND SUBMITTED TO OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE FOR APPROVAL AT FINAL COMPLETION. CONTRACTOR SHALL DEMONSTRATE COMPLETE OPERATING SYSTEM AND MAINTENANCE TO OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE AND OWNER'S MAINTENANCE AND OPERATING PERSONNEL. 12.CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO START UP AND WINTERIZE SYSTEM FOR THE WARRANTY PERIOD, ONE YEAR FROM FINAL COMPLETION, AND MAKE ALL ADJUSTMENTS AND REPAIRS REQUIRED TO INSURE EFFICIENT OPERATION. 13.CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED IRRIGATION WATER CONTROL, FILTRATION PRESSURE REGULATION, WASTE AND DRAINAGE REQUIREMENTS OF A COMPLETE MAINTENANCE SYSTEM. 14.ALL ROTARY HEADS IN THE DIRT JUMP AREA SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH SDR 35 PIPE PROTECTION. SEE DETAIL 10/L3.2. 15.FINAL LOCATION OF ALL HEADS IN DIRT JUMP AREA SHALL BE CONFIRMED BY OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE AND DIRT JUMP CONTRACTOR. 16.ALL IRRIGATION IN LAWN AREAS SHALL BE HEAD TO HEAD COVERAGE. THE INTENT OF THE IRRIGATION IN THE DIRT JUMP AREA IS TO DECREASE DUST, IMPROVE DIRT QUALITY, AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH MAINTENANCE ON THE FEATURES. THEREFORE, HEAD TO HEAD COVERAGE IS NOT REQUIRED IN THIS AREA. 17.CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE 3 EACH 2 G.P.H. EMITTERS TO EACH TREE, 2 EACH 1 G.P.H. EMITTERS TO EACH SHRUB, VINE OR HERBACEOUS PLANT. ALL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE CONCEALED OR OTHERWISE PROTECTED UNDER SPECIFIED MULCHES AND IN VALVE BOXES WHERE ACCESS IS REQUIRED. 18.ALL EXISTING IRRIGATION SHALL CONTINUE TO OPERATE OFF OF EXISTING WELL. A NEW CLOCK WILL BE REQUIRED TO MANAGE EXISTING ZONES. 19.ALL EXISTING ZONES WILL STAY CONSISTENT WITH PREVIOUS SEPARATION UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
