HomeMy WebLinkAbout019 Stormwater Maintenance Plan 2131 Graf G:\MADISON ENGINEERING\PROJECTS\2018\18-116 Graf St Apts\Application\Subdivision\Preliminary Plat\Resubmittal\019 STORMWATER MAINTENANCE PLAN_2131 Graf_091522.doc STORMWATER MAINTENANCE PLAN Graf Street Apartments Maintenance Responsibility Background A property owners association (2131 Graf Apartments POA, Inc.), hereafter referred to as the “POA”, has been established for the 2131 Graf Street Minor Subdivision. The formation of the POA is for specific maintenance responsibilities of common facilities developed for all lots within 2131 Graf Street Minor Subdivision (except Lot 1, Block 1), including stormwater facilities. Maintenance of all stormwater facilities, including operations, assessments, repairs, and maintenance of such facilities shall be in accordance with the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions and Easements established for 2131 Graf Apartments POA, Inc. Maintenance Plan All stormwater infrastructure shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturers recommendations for each specific infrastructure type. The POA shall maintain operations and maintenance manuals on-site for all stormwater infrastructure. In addition, the POA’s responsibility for routine maintenance and inspection shall be as described below. 1. Keep the inlets of the facilities free of leaves, rocks, and other debris. 2. See that litter and other debris are removed from inlets, swales, and vegetated and paved areas. 3. Maintenance of the underground systems are as follows: • Minimum required maintenance includes a quarterly inspection during the first year of operation and a yearly inspection thereafter. Utilize inspection ports for inspections. • The inspection ports can be used to pump water into the system and re- suspend accumulated sediment so that is may be pumped out. Flush and pump as inspections deem necessary.
