MEMORANDUM Date: 1 September 2022 To: Alicia Paz-Solis and John Alston, City of Bozeman From: Norris Design, Water Design Re: Icon at NWX Phase 1 - Pool information and discharge design Please see notes below regarding pool water source, treatment methods, drainage methods, and max flow rate calculations:
• The pool backwash and drain water will be drained to the City of Bozeman sanitary sewer system.
• The pool will only be drained once every 3 to 5 years and the spa will be drained once a year. Both are drained through a 1-inch pipe with an approximate flow rate of 20 gpm discharging to the 6-inch sewer service installed to the clubhouse.
• This service has a maximum capacity of 298 cfs at 75% full.
• The pool will be filled with water from the City of Bozeman water distribution system through a 4-inch domestic water service to the clubhouse.
