The irrigation plan is schematic. The design intent is for all pressurized valves to be located within the property boundary.2. Irrigation water to be supplied from well located on property and equiped with a smart irrigation controller and rain/freese sensor.3. All valve boxes to standard size or larger and to be set and backfilled with crusher fines.4. Irrigation main line to be 2" SCH 40 PVC. Lateral lines shall be no smaller than 3/4" unless noted on plan. 5. Adjust location of main line and lateral lines to avoid placing boulders, trees and shrubs directly over lines.6. All trees to be irrigated with Rain Bird XFD On-Surface Dripline with 12" spaced 1 Gal emitters with each tree receiving 7 emitters.7. All shrubs to be irrigated with one 2 Gal drip emitter and all perennials to be irrigated with one 1 Gal drip emitter with 1/4" flexible drip tube brought to the base of each plant. 8. All turf and native seed areas under 30' wide to be irrigated with Rain Bird Rotator Nozzle spray heads.9. All turf and native seed areas over 30' wide to be irrigated with Rain Bird 5000+ Series pressure regulating rotator heads.10. All irrigation heads must receive head to head coverage.11. Power source for irrigation controller to be to be coordinated with electrical engineering and electrical contractor by landscape contractor. 12. Do not install irrigation system when obvious obstructions or grade changes are present.13. All information to be verified by contractor prior to installation.14. It is the responsibility of the contractor to confirm waters source, verify water pressure, and gpm available. 15. The contractor shall maintain an accurate and current 'as-built' irrigation plan on site at all times.16. The irrigation system shall be connected to a well on-site. The max flow rate for the well shall be 35 GPM. The well pump shall be capable of pumping 35 GPM at 75 PSI. If a backflow preventor is required by Bozeman City, then the pressure coming out of the well head will need to be at least 85 PSI. The contractor shall confirm with Bozeman City if a backflow preventor is required. 17. The contractor shall test the water at the well to determine if a filter is required or not for the irrigation system to operate as designed. 18. Contractor shall only use commercial grade products.19. Landscape contractor shall provide and install all sleeves for all pipes and wires under pavement and sidewalks. Sleeves shall be 2 sizes larger than pipe inside.20. All sleeves installed shall be duct taped to prevent dirt or other debris from entering the pipe. All sleeves shall be identified by wood or PVC stakes and be spray painted with marking paint. Remove stakes when irrigation system is complete. 21. Non-irrigated Native plants will be watered for one season with temporary irrigation. The temporary irrigation will be above ground rotor nozzles on pedestals roughly 12-16" high. The temporary irrigation will be plumbed into the complete irrigation system with valves controlled by the irrigation clock. These temporary lines will then be omitted once the native grass is established.
