I attended the city commission meeting last Monday about the Fowler road connection...I was
glad to hear that the plans are thinking a 2 lane road with a median is the logical size. A mixed
use path and a bike lane seem appropriate also. My concern is the talk of another bike
lane/path on both sides. The residents on Fowler (between Babcock and Durston) can not
afford to lose street parking on both sides of the street! There is currently a nice sidewalk on
the East side which would work perfectly and would coincide with the money saving theory of
using as much of the current road as possible. Thanks
