A road is not the community desire - this is more geared towards those traveling from the highway area,
to Huffine. We, the community members, feel very disregarded and overlooked. We continue to tell youwe do NOT want a road and here is proof:

You thanked us for our opinions and passion however we stated facts.You failed to detail traffic data. On 2/15 you did a count of nearby road traffic but showed novolume to capacity ratio. At 1.07 in the video, from Molly Ward - hear her facts - we are onlyat 26% capacity on nearby streets. You failed to tell us how much this would cost us to maintain each year - plowing, moving,lighting, etc. No one has seen your Environmental Reports, that is yet another fact. The fact is the trail is 50k to maintain, a road 17-21 million to build, not includingmaintenance.Roads are where accidents, air, light and noise pollution occur, FACT. Trees provide oxygen, and absorb up to 30% of emissions. This plan is in direct conflict with Bozeman's strategic plan part 6 for climate change, FACTThere is dwindling green space left in Bozeman, especially the west side of town, FACT,temperatures are rising. Do you really think saving a few minutes of drive time is worth destroying this 100 year oldcorridor and all that if offers?Have you walked the TRAIL?!
Now that the road plan 2 vs 5 lanes, fire trucks will avoid that unless necessary. The few timesEmergency Service vehicles will use this does NOT necessitate tearing it all up.
The Engage Bozeman page says in their Poll Why are you interested? A MUCH better poll
would be, do you want this or not? Skewed results are what happens when you omit allthe options and only ask what YOU want. The real truth is most people do NOT want the road
at all for ALL the reasons I just listed. That is a fact.
With valuable, meaningful, powerful input, the best thing to do is at least pause, reassess, andreview this information that you never had had before. If you base a decision off of half truths,
you are making a very bad decision.
