Strong support of Fowler Avenue extension.
My wife and I moved back to Bozeman in 1993 (having lived here in the 80’s as students). We looked at
several houses on the east side of (N) Sweetgrass Ave but knew even “way back then” that the lots backed
up to the proposed and logical Fowler Avenue extension so we purchased a house on Sheridan Ave instead
(and now live on Meagher Ave).
Anyone who ever purchased a house on the east side of Sweetgrass Ave certainly did so with the full
knowledge that Fowler Ave would eventually be extended “in their backyard” and would/could effect their
long term property values and green-space; it was their free choice to do so and they have
enjoyed/become accustomed to the “privilege” for 30 excess years.
Fowler Ave is, was, and forever shall be a logical (and long overdue) north-south connector on the west side
of Bozeman, connecting present Fowler to now improved Davis Lane. It is a needed thoroughfare for safety
and traffic efficiency. Please get along and going with this important and rationale street
expansion/improvement project.
