Dear Commission and Staff, I have watched the City do historic backflips to try and please the neighbors of Fowler andmake compromise. Great work City! I have done my level best to educate them on how to be more effective while considering safety and how budgets work etc. But the Fowler neighbors have stubbornly stuck with their “no car, no pavement, and make it apark” rule with a non-stop no-compromise voice. I suggest that if they continue this unhelpful self serving and illogical tactic, you should instead build anything that you feel will serve theCity as a whole without considering a smaller footprint. Make it as large as safety traffic engineers feel is needed– birds be dammed! (just kidding - birds are necessary) But seriously (from GAP and Safer Bozeman), for safety please make sure that there are bike and pedestrian facilities on both sides ofthe street with access to local roads. I don’t want to see cyclists unseparated from cars inthe road, or pedestrian mid block crossings. Thank you for your wisdom and hard work, and staying calm through all the noise, Marilee Brown, Executive Director of Safer Bozeman and Chair of GAP Marilee Brown, Chair GAP - Galla10 Alliance for Pathways 2411 Kid Curry Drive Bozeman, MT 59718 406-579-5447 saferbozeman@gmail.com www.frontagepathway.com
