I wish to comment on the Fowler Ave Project. Bozeman is losing green space and animal habitat at an alarming rate.
The Fowler connection project would further that destruction. Neighborhoods need green spaces to be close to
nature and enjoy a break from the continued expansion of shopping centers and housing developments that have
spread west of the city. The trail that now exists in the Fowler Ave area provides that relief. Losing that trail to yet
another multi-lane road and car traffic would be a shame. Once green spaces are gone, that’s it. They’re gone.
Bozeman will become just another city that has lost its connection to the natural beauty that once dominated the
landscape. Please reconsider this project and preserve more, not less green space for the people who live in these
neighborhoods
