Fowler is a long-missing piece of the major transportation network to safely move trafficthrough Bozeman. The absence of this critical road has pushed traffic onto nearby localstreets that were not designed for such heavy traffic loads causing safety issues in theseneighborhoods. Unlike the neighboring local streets, Fowler will not have theseneighborhood driveways opening into it causing accidents and safety issues. These otherneighborhood streets are seeing traffic loads twice what they are designed to handle.Fowler has been planned for possibly 30-40 years. This should not be a surprise for thoseowning homes backing up to this area. For those who may see a bit of impact, you mustunderstand the impact those around you have felt the past 20 years as Bozeman has grownand traffic has increased. You are blessed to live in a beautiful town with many otherbeautiful trails and parks nearby. Construction of Fowler will only improve ourtransportation network and make nearby local streets safe.
