I am writing in regards to the proposed Fowler road project. The road would produce
noise pollution, light pollution, exhaust pollution, increase the danger to the neighborhoodchildren that play in the area and degrade home prices.
I have lived in the area since early 1970 with my family and now in my own house. We havemature trees, shrubs, grasses and a seasonal ditch that sustains many species of animals.
Through the years we have had herds of deer (whitetail and Mule), multiple families of hawks,owls, songbirds, pheasants, partridge, rabbits, raccoons and even skunks. Where are all these
animals going to go if the new Fowler road goes right through their habitat? They will bedisplaced and most likely will perish.
We are asking the city to not allow the Fowler road to go through this area and to instead leave
it alone or make a green parkway for walking and biking. There are so many beautifulwalking/biking trails on the East side of Bozeman and we feel that we need more green space
and trails on our end of town.
