Dear Transportation Board,
As a long-time resident of Bozeman (30+ years), I have witnessed the dramatic change
throughout the Gallatin Valley. Attributes we all care about - farmlands, open spaces, cleanair, quiet and safe neighborhoods - are rapidly being lost. You have the opportunity to foster
the preservation of a corridor that helps maintain what we value in the Gallatin Valley.
I ask you to turn down the proposal to build out Fowler Avenue into a major arterial road. Atthe very least, put the proposal on hold until it can be re-evaluated for its need, for its merits in
regard to citizens' intentions, and for its appropriateness under the Gallatin Valley SensitiveLands Protection Plan.
