I am in opposition of the proposed design plans for the Fowler corridor for several reasons: The area is zoned residential between Durston and Cascade and it is irresponsible to put a 3 or 5 lane highway put through their already small outdoor space. This poses an very real danger for the many families that live there. In addition to these neighbors, a road of this magnitude will cause viable danger to the several families, including my own with small children and pets. It is careless to assume otherwise. The destruction of natural landscape and displacement of animals and birds would be extensive and devastating. The water that flows will but cut off from animals and polluted by traffic. A 5-lane road through this quiet corridor does not make any sense for current or future flow density. Fowler and 19th provide sufficient access from Oak to Durston for the traffic flow of this area. There is no reason to slice through a residential area, a park and private land for the sake of traffic. The many people when will be negatively impacted far outweigh the few who will save themselves a 30 seconds drive time. Please consider revising the design to a two-lane road, eliminate the median, and add larger green space and walking trail between residence and road. Thank you for your consideration, AK Sent from my iPad
