Bozeman Legion Baseball Hitting Facility
Traffic Calculations
Below are the average daily trips and peak hour trips, as calculated using the 8th edition of the ITE Trip
Generation Report. This facility is an open warehouse space, but will be used by the non‐profit Bozeman
Bucks Baseball team for recreational baseball practice space. It appears the most applicable ITE code
category would be: (495) Recreational Community Center. It is planned to operate with one volunteer or
employee supervising activities in the facility at a time.
Recreational Community Center = 22.88 ADT per 1,000 SF
8,640 SF x 22.88 ADT = 198 ADT (13 Peak Hour Trips)
Total Proposed ADT = 198 ADT (13 Peak Hour Trips)
The ballfield on site already generates traffic, and this facility will primarily be used by existing users of
Heroes Park. Additionally, the bulk of the planned use will be during evenings and weekends, when coaches
are able to be there outside of normal business hours to open the facility. No significant impacts to nearby
streets are anticipated with this development.
