Board Meeting Minutes

ACTION: Nicholas Wickes moved to approve the minutes from the April URD board
meeting.
Nick Zelver seconded the motion.
All voted in favor.

FY2023 Draft Budget & Work Plan Review
Ellie presented the FY23 work plan and budget highlighting the DBP management fee to be
increased by 7%, including the Fire Station One project of $1.6 million, including $200,000 for
alley improvements, $1.25 million for structured parking site plans and bids. The board made
comments about the grant programs offered, and for staff to find the dollar amount that makes
them impactful and used by the community. The board asked for an update on the progress of
the development at Fire Station One and to receive a copy of the deed restriction when it is
available. Ellie provided narrative surrounding the next phase of the transportation plan work
that will include pedestrian safety items on Mendenhall and Babcock. Ellie stated that the
budget will be presented at the June 14th City Commission meeting for final approval.
ACTION: Bobby Bear moved to approve the presented FY23 budget.
Nicholas Wickes seconded the motion.
All voted in favor.
