Yes if individual residential totes are used and placed at the street for collection then Solid Waste would have no
reason to drive onto the property. This plan would be acceptable to Solid Waste.

Hi Russ,
Thank you for all of your help on these cottage projects in Blackwood Groves. We’re going through the comments on the #21421 site plan app for the
Cottages at Blackwood Groves. One of your comments states that no parking is allowed in the parking spaces at the end of the drive aisles for access to
the garages as these needed to be left open for Fire and Solid Waste to turn around. These spaces are intended to provide overflow parking for the site
and do not come close to meeting the dimensional standards for a proper turn-around. As you and I discussed, we are going to do individual totes
within the covered enclosure and our on-site maintenance tech will wheel those to the street on service days so no truck will have to drive into the
dead-end aisle. Can you confirm that Solid Waste does not need a turn around here as trucks will not be accessing the aisle? Our intention is to keep
these parking spaces as designed to provide additional off-street parking opportunities. Happy to discuss any time so feel free to call me if you’d like to
discuss further.
It looks like Scott signed off on the design as proposed (with no turn-around) as the dead-end aisles are under 150 feet but we’re triple checking that
with him.
