Cost comparison between demolishing existing residence/building a similar structure and
repairing/reconstructing residence as a single family which meets adopted building codes. See documentation Structural Report. Residence further evaluated by Contractor, April 2022. 2x4 walls and rafters. 2x10 and 2x8 joists. Many joists notched. No sheathing or building wrap. Existing residence approx. 38’x 26’ footprint, 2 story, with small front porch and exterior stairs.
SUMMARY: Cost of repair/rehabilitation exceeds cost of demolition/redevelopment. Additional cost is $108,110. See cost breakdown below.
