HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE 21-376 Enterprise Apartments MOD - Sufficient and Acceptable for Formal ReviewNakeisha, We are just waiting on Planning to sign off and I can’t give them occupancy until all Departments have signed. I walked it yesterday with Scott from Fire and we notice that some main floor railing needed to be installed and the trash enclosure the roof was still needing to be finished. I figured that might be the hold up from Planning. My solution was we can condition those on our building permit. The deal that is being made is once all departments have signed off we would allow them to occupy the units that are complete. They are still installing some cabinets and counter tops in 10 of the units. all fire, life and safety requirements at this time have been met. Building would keep our permit open until all work is complete over the next few weeks while they finish trimming out these 10 dwellings. Then we will issue the final clean Certificate of Occupancy. Thanks and let me know if there are any other issues that could be holding up things. They submitted a modification for some minor changes on site, there is no new building, what I guess is Tom went and did the inspection and told them some things needed to be corrected, and now he basically wants to know if this application will hold up their occupancy. The modification gets assigned and goes through the planning process, so that’s just my boiler plate response. I am waiting to hear from Tom. I am probably a little confused on this from the sounds of it.. I believe they have applied for occupancy and should have everything else needed. Correct, these are just minor modifications to the site. I was under the impression that the mod would need to be fully approved before they could obtain occupancy but maybe this isn’t the case?
