RE: Bozeman Ice Fest Lark STUP, Application 21427
Dear Anica Lees,
Your request for a Special Temporary Use Permit for up to three mobile food vendors, beer
garden, and outdoor communal area with associated temporary supporting infrastructure such
as tents and tables, and parking located at 122 West Main Street has been approved in
accordance with the plans and specifications submitted as part of the application, with the
following conditions:
1. This approval is only valid from December 10, 2021 at 3 pm to December 11, 2021 at 9
pm.
2. Building permits associated with this special temporary use on the subject property may
be applicable and must be applied for and approved prior to the establishment of the
temporary use.
a. Please contact the Building Department (406-582-2375) for the application and
approval of permits such as structural, electrical, etc.
3. Per Sec. 28.03.040, each mobile vending unit requires a business license in order to
operate in this capacity. Prior to operation on the subject property, please ensure each
mobile vendor has obtained this license from The Community Development
Department.
4. Mobile vendors operating on this subject property must comply with Sec. 28.03.270.
Mobile vendor requirements of the BMC unless otherwise stated in Sec. 28.03.050.D.
5. Any temporary signage must be permitted prior to placement on the premises, as
required by BMC, with submittal to and approval by the City of Bozeman Community
Development Department (406-582-2260).
6. The service of alcoholic beverages on the subject property through Single Barrel or any
other business must comply with the Bozeman Municipal Code and the Montana
Alcoholic Beverage Code.
7. Please provide a copy of the approved open container waiver and public assembly
permit executed by the Public Works Department.
