Contractor to cut tree roots at property line as noted per plan, do not disturb adjacent properties. Do not disturb site features noted as to remain. Water Service Demolition. Contact Water Department prior to water service demolition. Initial site demolition may be conducted with water shut-off at curb-stop valves. Abandon services at water main in accordance with Water Department requirements and repair street prior to completion of demolition. Similarly, abandon the sewer services at the main instead of the property line. Site Demolition. Remove all building foundations, asphalt, concrete, and other surfacing materials and aggregate base courses as shown on the plans. Restore to original grade and cap with topsoil for re-vegetation. Seed with dry-land grass seed. Do not damage or remove surfaces outside of property line. Existing sidewalk along perimeter streets to remain. Contractor fencing will not be installed in the vision triangle. Fencing. Provide security fencing at demolition limits during demolition. Do not obscure vision triangles at street intersections. The applicant has hired a professional to do a preliminary assessment of the abatement efforts needed at the existing facility given the age and year of construction. The applicant has asked the contractor to move forward with abatement as the first steps towards demolition. The demolition contractor is responsible for all inspections and testing as required by the City of Bozeman when disconnecting all utilities. The applicant has proposed an existing wall treatment to restore the facade at 17 W Lamme St that will be exposed following the demolition of the existing structure at 15 W Lamme St. Special attention should be given to the demolition efforts completed in this area in preparation for the proposed restoration. Efforts to preserve the existing architectural detailing and building materials, to be used in the design of the subsequent development to be built on this site, are being considered.
