Project Narrative and Additional Checklist Information

This project is being submitted as a Modification to Approved plan as planning staff has given
direction as to this being the correct process for this small utility building.
Item 4. Project Narrative. The project consists of construction of a 8’ x 20’ utility building to
house a water meter and water piping to serve the MSU AES BART Farm Area with City of
Bozeman water. The alternations include construction of this building. This is a Montana State
University project. The building will be located on an undeveloped area near the Miller Pavilion.
Item 5. File Number. There is not a file number associated with the plan to be modified.
Planning staff said to use this process.
Item 6. Site Plan of Existing. See Sheet G-1.0 Cover Sheet and Sheet C-1.1 that have aerial
photo of project site. The building is setback over 80 feet from closest property line.
Item 7. Site Plan of Proposed. See Sheet C-1.1 that shows proposed utility building. The
building does not require any formal parking or pedestrian access.
