The Department of Community Development has approved the comprehensive signage plan consistent with Article 38.560 of the Bozeman Municipal Code. A City of Bozeman sign permit will be required for all new signage. All sign applications must include a copy of the approved plan to be considered for approval. Sign permit applications may be obtained through the building division at 406-582-2375. No modifications of the approved plan will be allowed without prior approval from the Department of Community Development. If the building owner wishes to change the sign area allocations, allowed sign types, or permitted locations, a new comprehensive sign plan will be required.
