The retention ponds shall be kept free of trash, and the berms/slopes shall be mowed or otherwise maintained to provide for a pleasant appearance. 2. Drainage paths and storm water structures shall e routinely of sed mentected and kept free of trash and debris. Sumps shall be cleaned upon accumulation 3. The owner shall inspect the retention ponds in spring and fall to insure that the original design capacity is in order. 4. Sediment shall be removed and the pond restored to its original dimensions when the sediment accumulation is evident. 5. Underground retention vaults shall be inspected at minimum 6 month intervals. a. If sediment is at, or above, 3 isolator rows shall be cleaned using the jetvac process. b. A fixed culvert cleaning nozzle with rear facing spread of 45" or more is preferred. c. Apply multiple passes of jetvac until backflush water is clean. 5.
