Car Sharing Club for Bozeman Cohousing

Club responsibilities
1.Provide a minimum of three vehicles
2.Provide insurance coverage
3.Provide routine maintenance (oil change, snow tire/summer tire change,
etc)
4.Conduct monthly vehicle check
5.Establish and maintain a reservation system
6.Mark car-share vehicles with a sticker on the windshield
7.Provide an annual report of car-share usage to the City of Bozeman
Member responsibilities
1.Use the reservation system to reserve a vehicle
2.Pay a monthly membership fee
3.Attend member meetings
4.Pay mileage and/or driving time as agreed on by the club
5.Return car in clean condition
6.Report any accidents or issues
7.The member who causes an accident is responsible to cover costs of
repair not covered by insurance.
8.Must have a good driving record to join the car-sharing club
DMember and Club set-up
1.Set-up a car-sharing contract
2.Establish a membership fee, and mileage/driving time rates
3.Establish usage guidelines
4.Establish club decision-making process
5.Establish who purchases and when gas is purchased
6.Establish how the costs of insurance and maintenance are divided
7.Establish a dispute resolution process
8.Establish membership qualifications and termination
