Historical Features
This section is a response to the requirements of the City of Bozeman Unified Development
Ordinance Section 38.220.060 relative to Historical Features.
There are no historic structures on site. According to the records of the Montana Historical
Society there are no previously recorded sites, historic or archaeological, on the project site.
Correspondence from the historical society specific to The Bozeman Gateway is provided with
this section. A cultural resource evaluation conducted by Larry Lahren is included with this
section. Concurrence by the Montana Historical Society that no properties on or eligible for
NRHP appear likely to exist within the project impact area is also included. If any sites of
potentially historic or archeological interest are encountered during construction, the Montana
Historic Preservation Office will be contacted.
