Restricting the Outdoor Use of Water from the City of Bozeman ' s Water
Utility and Implementing City Commission Resolution 5315
Declaring a Stage 2 Drought
Under the authority provided to me by Sect. 40 , 02 . 1270 , Bozeman Municipal Code (BMC) , I
hereby restrict the outdoor use of the water supply of the City of Bozeman' s water service utility
pursuant to the provisions of City Commission Resolution 5315 , adopted July 13 , 2021 and
attached hereto .
The restrictions on the outdoor use of water and the exemptions contained in Resolution 5315 are
effective at 12 : 00 AM, Friday, July 16, 2021 . As such, I hereby order all outdoor water use from
the City' s water utility to comply with the provisions of Resolution 5315 effective 12 : 00 AM,
Friday, July 16 , 2021 .
Violations of this order are subject to the enforcement -provisions of 40 , 02 . 1340 , BMC and the
penalty provision of 40 . 02 . 1350 , BMC and 40 . 02 . 1360 , BMC .

Notice to Residents of the City of Bozeman : Outdoor Water Use Restrictions
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that effective 12 : 00 AM on Friday, July 16 , 2021 restrictions are
implemented for all outdoor water use from the City ' s water utility . On Tuesday, July 13 , 2021
the Bozeman City Commission adopted Resolution 5315 declaring a Stage 2 Drought and
implementing outdoor water use restrictions . On July 14 , 2021 the City ' s Director of Public Works
issued an order implementing the restrictions included in Resolution 5315 . Resolution 5315 is
available at www. bozeman. net and by contacting the Bozeman City Clerk' s Office at 406- 582-
2321 . Residents are encouraged to visit the City ' s Water Conservation Division' s webpage at
www. bozemanwater. com for information on the Stage 2 Drought and the associated outdoor water
use restrictions .
THEREFORE : EFFECTIVE AT 12 * 00 AM FRIDAY JULY 16, 2021 PURSUANT TO CITY
COMMISSION RESOLUTION 5315 AND THE ORDER OF THE CITY' S PUBLIC
WORKS DIRECTOR THE OUTDOOR USE OF WATER FROM THE CITY' S WATER
UTILITY IS SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS IN TIME OF DAY AND DAY OF THE
WEEK. THE RESTRICTIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
