Preliminary Plat Application
MDEQ Exemption
The applicant will request a Municipal Facilities Exclusion from the Montana Department of
Environmental Quality (MDEQ), per Section 38.240.470, UDC. The project schedule calls for
water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure to be completed during 2020.
After the project obtains preliminary plat approval, and storm drainage plans are reviewed and
approved as part of the infrastructure plan review process, the Municipal Facilities Exclusion
Checklist will be provided to the Director of Public Works for his approval and signature and
forwarded to MDEQ for final approval.
