City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana Dear Ms. Saucier, Referencing your letter received September 4, 2019 concerning the evaluation of the subject subdivision. Bozeman Public Schools would expect that this phase of the Planned Unit Development would not generate any students. This assumption is based on the nature of the existing zoning designation (B-2) along with the indicated intent to for a mixed-use development. Please let us know if there are any changes to the proposed development as this could modify the above student projections. Main St. Bozeman, MT 59715 Re: The Bozeman Gateway Planned Unit Development – Phase 4 MMI Project No. 3638.009 To Whom It May Concern We are soliciting your comments regarding impacts to the Bozeman School system for a proposed subdivision located North of West Garfield Street and West of Fowler Avenue. The Preliminary Plat for Phase 4 of the Bozeman Gateway Planned Unit Development (PUD) is currently being prepared for submittal to the City of Bozeman. A draft copy of the preliminary plat is included for your reference. The overall Bozeman Gateway PUD covers 72.2 acres and calls for up to 160 residential units to be constructed. This phase will encompass 15.8 acres and provide 2 residential lots, 3 open space lots, 5 common areas and 15 commercial lots. The project is located within the city limits of Bozeman and will be served by city infrastructure/services. Access to the subdivision will be provided by Fowler Ave and West Garfield Street. Access to the individual lots will be provided by streets paved to City of Bozeman standards. As part of the subdivision application process, we are requesting any comments you may have regarding the proposed subdivision and a written statement indicating whether the increased enrollment can be accommodated by the present personnel and facilities and by the existing school bus system.
