Dear Christina,
It is my pleasure to write to you today to honor and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Help Center.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to providing outstanding service to our community
members in crisis over the last 50 years.
Since 1971 The Help Center has been providing support in Bozeman,the Gallatin Valley, and
surrounding areas 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We celebrate and honor the devoted and
compassionate volunteers and staff who provide advocacy and counseling to those in need.
From survivors of sexual assault and children who have suffered abuse to those in crisis or just need
someone to talk to,the Help Center's work profoundly benefits our community.
Phone calls to home-bound individuals, referrals to local mental health options and other resources, in
addition to education on a variety of topics, including suicide prevention and healthy relationships, are
all part of the critical work done every day at the Help Center.
This past year,you played an even more vital role in supporting the community and partners during the
COVID pandemic and the Bridger Fire.
All of us deserve to live a healthy, rewarding life. Your successful efforts to respond to those in crisis
have been vital to the wellbeing of our community. On behalf of myself and the entire Bozeman City
Commission,we thank you for your work and join you in marking this 501h anniversary!
