Adding this volume to indoor domestic below totals 0.33 AF. Prelim CILWR produced for that demand is $1,980. Will confirm the final fee when the site plan is submitted. Total Gal / Week = 1099.65 With this information combined with your email below we should be able to finalize the CILWR amount. This message corrects the domestic CILWR demand amount to reflect the gross square footage of the office building itself. 9,189 sq ft * 10,000/gal/yr/1000 sq ft = 91,890 gal/yr or 0.28 AF/yr . Landscape irrigation annual demand, if supplied from city system, will be added on top. Analysis of metered water use for office buildings connected to city water system indicate that offices use water at a rate of 10,000gal/yr/1000sqft of building space. Given that the building has a gross area of 10,852 sq ft, the anticipated annual domestic demand is 108,520 gal/yr or 0.33 AF/yr. This is significantly less volume than determined by Bill’s calculation (0.92 AF/yr). Not sure where he got his numbers from since a reference wasn’t provided. The final fee must include landscape irrigation demand if the irrigation supply source is the City water supply. I’m not seeing a well on the overall site plan provided so am presuming city connection to be the case. The landscape irrigation demand will be taken directly from the estimated water use shown on the landscape plan sheets. Can wrap this up if you provide the landscape plan sheet with estimated water use now, or can circle back and get that once the application materials are submitted.
