Hi Thomas,
The concerns are that you are proposing what is by definition, a separate building that is to be used for smoking after
this project has been noticed. You will need a letter from the Health Department approving an enclosed smoking shelter,
then we would have to re-notice this project to allow for public comment. The other option is that you could wait for
site plan approval and then submit a MOD for the shelter, however either way you will need the letter from the Health
Department and we will need to provide public notice for the smoking shelter. A smoking shelter would likely be a
contentious addition and we have been instructed by our legal team that we will likely need to notice either way.

Are you proposing to add this shelter with the site plan for the lounge? That may be problematic being that this has
already been noticed.
