If less than 5 feet deep, a competent person may determine that a protective system is not required. SEWER FROM MAIN IN IDA AVE TO HOUSE NORTH IDA AVE THIS IS A NEW SEWER LINE WITH A NEW CONNECTION TO THE MAIN. THE DEPTH OF THE SEWER MAIN IN IDA IS 7' --- VERIFY THIS. BEING THAT THE WATER LINE HAS TO BE AT LEAST 6'- 6" DEEP IT WILL WORK OUT TO PUT BOTH SEWER AND WATER IN THE SAME 4' WIDE TRENCH REDUCING THE NEED FOR TWO SEPARATE EXCAVATIONS EACH REQUIRING TRENCH BOXES. THIS HAS BEEN VERIFIED WITH THE WATER / SEWER DEPT. WATER LINES HOUSE HOUSE WATER SUPPLY( ENTERING IN CRAWLSPACE ) TO BE A NEW CONNECTION TO THE MAIN ON IDA AVE. WITH NEW CURB BOX , ANGLE STOP, METER, BACK FLOW ASSY. AND SHUTOFF PER CITY OF BOZEMAN STD. DRAWING NO. 02660-17 ATTACHED IN DOCUMENTS THIS WATER SUPPLY CAN GO IN SAME 4' WIDE TRENCH AS THE NEW SEWER LINE. COTTAGE THE 1" DIAM CLEAR CORE COTTAGE WATER SUPPLY CONNECTING INTO THE HOUSE SUPPLY MUST BE 6'- 6" DEEP. SINCE THE SEWER LINE IS ONLY 4' DEEP IT MAKES SENSE TO DIG A SEPARATE VERY NARROW TRENCH FOR THE WATER LINE. BEING FLEXIBLE AND CONTINUOUS THE WATER LINE CAN BE PLACED IN THE TRENCH FROM ABOVE WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE A PERSON IN THE TRENCH THUS ELIMINATING THE NEED FOR THE HUGE AMOUNT OF EXCAVATION NEEDED FOR TRENCH BOXES. 410 NORTH IDA AVE AMENDED PLAT C-23-A20 BABCOCK AND DAVIS ADDN.
