I feel that alcohol consumption and sale would lead to violence because alcohol use affects the ability to reason. Hotels should be a safe place for people to rest on vacation or trip, and alcohol consumption on premises could lead to people under the influence endangering that sense of safety. If a person staying at the hotel was able to bye or use alcohol, they could make poor decisions, and potentially hold the hotel guilty for their actions, therefor being detrimental to the service and successfulness of the hotel. Also under the regulations that the current Alcohol permit distribution in the premises would have to spend time and money to get new permits that suite the new place where Sobeyƛ was is an un-needed spans of time for more potential dangers and felonies. The expansion of alcohol distribution would increase profit, but it presents some dangers that don need to be there. Many other places offer drink in a much more stable and safe environment, so I don feel that adding an alcohol distribution place next to the hotel would be worth the risks.
