country of Portugal was powered entirely by solar, wind and hydro electricity?1 Or that by 11am
on Sunday, May 8, Germany was producing so much renewable energy that it was actually
selling its energy back to the people?2 Here in the U.S. we already have three cities -- Aspen, Burlington, and Greensburg -- that are completely powered by 100% clean and renewable energy day in and day out, and we have another 12 other cities -- including the 8th largest city in
America, San Diego -- that have committed to transition to 100% clean and renewable energy
over the next couple of decades, or in some cases sooner! WE CAN DO THIS. Why is Big Sky
Country, that proclaims to be the" Last Best Place", continue to use coal, an ancient energy source, to produce its energy and earn its living??? We can do better.
