ORDINANCE NO. 1053
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN DESCRIBED LANDS CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1
That the external boundaries of the area to be annexed to the City of Bozeman are
described as follows:
Town Pump Annexation
A tract of land beginning at a point on the West line of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW l/4 SE 1/4) of Section Eleven (11) ,
Township Two (2) South, Range Five (5) East, M.P.M., which bears North
00 15' East a distance of 989.31 feet from the Southwest corner of the
Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section, Township and Range, which
point being on the Northwesterly right of way line of U.S. Highway 11191,
and 50 feet left when measured at right angles to the centerline station
338..f 71.1, thence North 00 15' East a distance of 331.74 feet to the
Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW
1/4 SE 1/4) of said Section, Township and Range, thence North 890 25'
East along the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter (SW 1/4 SE 1/4) of said Section, Township and Range, a distance
of 304.04 feet to a point of 50 feet left when measured at right angles
to the center line station 343 ..f 30.5 of said U.S. Highway #191, thence
South 420 21' 30" West a distance of 459.37 feet to the point of begin-
ning. Area of the parcel is 1.16 acres.
Section 2
I That pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-2-4701, M.C.A., as amended, it is the
intent of the City of Bozeman to provide services to the area being annexed as set forth
in the report of the City-County Planning Board under date of March 18, 1980.
Section 3
That the area to be annexed to the City of Bozeman is contiguous to the municipal bound-
aries at the time the annexing proceedings began.
Section 4
That no part of the area to be annexed is included within the boundaries of another in-
corporated municipality.
Section 5
That the area being annexed will conform to the comprehensive plan of the City of Boze-
man as prescribed in Section 7-2-4071, M.C.A., as amended.
Section 6
That no part of the area is included within the boundaries of any fire district organ-
ized under the provisions of Chapter 20, Title II, R.C.M., 1947, which has been organized at
I least ten (10) years prior to the commencement of annexation proceedings.
Section 7
That the effective date of annexation is April 17, 1980.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana and approved
by the Mayor of said City this 19th day of March, 1980.
