ORDINANCE NO. 1041
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING SECTION 14.20
OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE, REGULATING AND CONTROLLING THE DESIGN,
CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION, QUALITY OF MATERIALS, LOCATION, OPERATION
AND MAINTENANCE OF HEATING, VENTILATING, COMFORT COOLING, REGRIGERATION
SYSTEMS, INCINERATORS, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS HEAT PRODUCING APPLIANCES I
IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA: PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS
AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFORE: PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF: REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 982 OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND ALL OTHER
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AS
FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
Section 1
14.20.010 ADOPTION: A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Bozeman, Montana, being marked and designated as "Uniform
Mechanical Code," 1979 Edition, published by the International Conference of Building Offi-
cials," be and the same is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City of Bozeman for
regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials,
location, operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, comfort cooling, refrigeration
systems, incinerators, and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances in the City of
Bozeman; providing for issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; providing pen-
alties for violation of such code; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties,
conditions and terms of such "Uniform Mechanical Code, 1979 Edition, published by the Inter-
national Conference of Building Officials", on file in the office of the City Clerk are here-
by referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance.
Section 2 I
That Ordinance No. 982 of the City of Bozeman, and all other ordinances or parts of
ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days
after its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
this 21st day of November 1979.
