ORDINANCE NO. 1014
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN VACATING THE ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS 29
AND 30 IN BLOCK C OF THE ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, certain property owners on property abutting the hereinafter described alley
I in Lots 29 and 30 in Block C of the Original Townsite to Bozeman, Montana, have presented
to the City Commission a petition requesting vacation of said alley; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, on the 27th day of
September, 1978, at its regular meeting passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 2003
declaring it to be the intention of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, to vacate the
following alley:
That alley in Lots 29 and 30 in Block C of the Original Townsite of the
City of Bozeman, Montana.
WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said resolution was published in the Bozeman Daily
Chronicle at least once, to wit, on the 2nd day of October, 1978, as appears from the affi-
davit of publication of the publisher of said Bozeman Daily Chronicle, which is on file with
the Clerk of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman; and
WHEREAS, said notice of the adoption of said resolution has been served in the manner
of the service of summons in civil actions upon all persons whose property abutts upon the
above described alley proposed to be vacated and which will be effected by the proposed
vacation, which said notice designated Wednesday, the 25th day of October, 1978, at 1:15
o'clock p.m., at the Commission Room in the City Hall Building, Bozeman, Montana, as the
time and place for hearing objections; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of October, 1978, at its regular meeting the City Commission
fully heard objections to and evidence in support of said vacation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
I Section 1
That the following alley be vacated, to wit:
All that alley in Lots 29 and 30 in Block C of the Original Townsite
of Bozeman, Montana.
Section 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after
its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
held on this 25th day of October, 1978.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1014 was published
by title and number in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a newspaper of I
general circulation printed and published in said Bozeman in the issue
of the 30th day of October, 1978, and due proof of such publication
is on file in my office.
